Today CFC Industriebeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Dortmund, held its Annual General Meeting in Dortmund. All items on the agenda – among them the authorization for the purchase of own shares – were approved by the stockholders with a large majority of the votes. 

At the end of the General Meeting, the chairman of the Supervisory Board, Klaus von Hörde, announced his resignation from the Board for health reasons as of June 30, 2009. 

Together with Marcus Linnepe, the company’s CEO, Mr. von Hörde founded the predecessor company of today’s CFC in the year 2003. Mr. von Hörde has gained more than 30 years of professional experience in numerous major international industrial concerns such as Mannesmann Demag, General Electric, ABB, Carl Schenk, and MEMC. 

Marcus Linnepe took notice of this decision with great regret and expressed his thanks to Mr. von Hörde for the successful teamwork of many years. Marcus Linnepe announced that in the case of Mr. von Hörde’s resignation he will make use of his right of appointment to the Supervisory Board as granted to him by the articles of incorporation.
