• Werner Neubauer becomes member of the Executive Board of CFC Industriebeteiligungen AG
  • CFC concentrates business development on the electronics segment

As of now, CFC Industriebeteiligungen AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Dortmund, also reflects its concentration on the electronics segment in the composition of its Executive Board. CFC’s Supervisory Board has appointed Werner Neubauer as a member of the Executive Board with effect of August 20, 2012. Werner Neubauer was already active in the group from 2007 to 2011 and was responsible for the successful development of the electronics business.

After he had resigned in the course of the planned divestment of the electronics segment, Neubauer now regains responsibility for the future development and management of this CFC group. Against this background, he will also become CEO of portfolio companies.

Marcus Linnepe will, also as a member of the Executive Board, primarily accompany the further development of the Berndes business. CFC is still owner of essential assets related to the company, which is currently in preliminary insolvency proceedings. It is the goal of Mr. Linnepe to enable a continued existence and a long-term positive continuation of the business in order to maximize the value of the remaining assets of the Berndes group for CFC.

Mr. von Hörde commented as follows: “There are two major challenges ahead of us: on the one hand the further development and expansion of the electronic group and, on the other hand, the going concern of the company in view of the challenges with respect to Berndes.”
