Ad hoc-Announcement according to § 15 WpHG

 

CFC Zwischenholding GmbH, Dortmund, a 100% subsidiary of CFC Industriebeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KGaA, has acquired 100% of the shares of VOGT electronic Letron GmbH from VOGT electronic EMS GmbH, a subsidiary of VOGT electronic AG. Price and conditions of the transaction will not be disclosed. The transaction is subject to closing conditions in favour of CFC, which are expected to be fulfilled during next week. 

VOGT electronic Letron GmbH, develops, manufactures and sells electronic subsystems and products for the security,communication and medicine industry. The debt-free company headquartered in Osterode, Germany, will generate EUR 12 million in revenues this year. The company employs 80 people. The VOGT group decided to sell its subsidiary as it was no longer declared being core business. After a short transition period, the company will be renamed in “Letron electronic GmbH”. 

Letron electronic will be developed into a leading supplier in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) market. In the future, Letron electronic will accompany customers along the complete value chain from development over prototype manufacturing to volume production. Structured as a sister company to ELCON Systemtechnik GmbH, already owned by CFC, both companies will join to benefit from synergies and opportunities in the future to improve performance and financial results.
